today Nina and I did a incredible story on fashion. it was the best! our minds are synchronized. we had a tremendously good time making fun out of the seriousness that fashion has become over the past years. today no one can joke about the industry. it's hyped up to a level where everyone pads around on their tiny toes, to scared to utter a word that might harm them, the fashionistas or their words to be wrong in the context of fashion. therefore we did this job. "beauty where something is wrong". ugly faces, clothes put together in the most incredible way and very, very cool fashionable poses, as the cherry on top of all this yummy bowl of chocolate ice cream.
the story of the Sweden-dress: in the beginning of the nineties Sweden had become quiet racist to be frank. Nina, who strongly stood out from this mad ass crowd had this wonderful dress made with help of a friend. in the ninth grade, at the age of fourteen, she wore the dress together with clogs, plaits and flowers in her hair. could anyone possibly be more of a Sweed? do not think so. that's the spirit, that's the power of independence. me like.
I wore it together with a wonderful Ida Sjöstedt dress.
